IMPORTANT!: Murray & O Reilly recommend that R134a systems use only BEADLOCK fittings with BARRIER hose. Beadlock fittings have permanently attached ferrules and require a special crimping tool. R12 systems can use either Barb or Beadlock fittings. When Barbed fittings are joined to Barrier hose, a crimped connection should be made with a ferrule and Barbed crimping tool.
